IFOP, AN ECORESPONSIBLE GROUP

In 2002 Ifop committed to Sustainable Development, well before the "Grenelle de l'Environnement" of 2007. We were the first market research institute to take Sustainable Development issues into consideration for organisations and brands, thus contributing to increased awareness among all involved.

In 7 years we have observed the phenomenal awakening of awareness among consumer-citizens of the importance of ethical commitments on the part of institutions and companies. From being a poorly-known notion of little concern in 2002, Sustainable Development is now at the heart of consumer-citizen's concerns (67% aware of it today). Ethical and environmental approaches are increasingly the driving force behind corporate and institutional innovation strategies.

Ifop's objective is to pursue this pedagogic effort among advertisers via its ad-hoc studies and annual Sustainable Development Monitor (known as ODD : "Observatoire du Developpement Durable"), originating from Ifop's Planet Care range.
