As summer approaches and people head off on vacation, the risk of damage to property, particularly burglary, is higher. Reolink called on Ifop’s Omnibus expertise for a dedicated survey on French people’s concerns, and their level of equipment in terms of home security solutions. The result: the French are worried, but ill-equipped.
While more than a third of French people say they are worried about the risk of burglary during their vacations, the level of security solutions installed in France is still limited. The study highlights a strong desire to equip themselves, particularly with connected cameras: 46% of French people intend to buy one. For those who don’t own a connected camera, 27% cite price as the main obstacle. There are significant discrepancies between the level of concern in certain regions and their level of equipment, as well as differences according to age.
