- Despite a slight upturn in optimism about their own business, VSE managers’ optimism about the general business climate in France is falling again, and is accompanied by increased mistrust of the French government.
- Hiring forecasts for the second quarter of 2025 are down slightly, while the number of job cuts envisaged remains fairly stable.
- The vast majority of employers who have used apprenticeships or professionalization contracts over the past ten years have a good opinion of them, and continue to see a win-win situation for both the company and the apprentice.
- Savings by very small business owners are down significantly on 2016, and are mainly directed towards preparing for retirement.
- While business owners continue to rely mainly on their banker to invest their money, and allocate most of their savings to products designed to limit risk, fewer than in 2016 although still the majority are seeking for tax exemption when it comes to savings.
