Singer-host Patrick Sébastien is a personality who divides the French, and is the marker of a more popular, right-wing fringe of the country.
Indeed, a minority of French people (43%) say they like the singer and host Patrick Sébastien. He is not appreciated by a majority of any age group, with a maximum appreciation of 49% among those aged 65 and over. Patrick Sébastien is more popular in rural areas (51%) than in the greater Paris area (41%). There are also major differences in terms of voting habits, with Renaissance (27%) and NFP (34%) voters half as likely as RN voters (65%) to approve of the singer.
