Ifop asked the people of Saint-Etienne about their preferences for the potential heads of list of “Saint-Etienne Ensemble 2026”, an alliance of center-right parties formed with a view to future municipal elections.nnDino Cinieri is the most well-known local politician to emerge from the alliance: 53% of Saint-Etienne voters say they know him, compared with only 36% and 34% for Lionel Boucher (UDI) and Quentin Bataillon (Renaissance). He also enjoys the highest approval ratings, not only among right-of-center voters in the municipal and presidential elections (41%), but also among the Stéphanois population as a whole: a third (32%) of them say they have a good opinion of him.nnFinally, more than a third of Stéphanois voters (37%) think that Dino Cinieri would make a good mayor for the city, and a fifth (21%) of right-of-center voters would like Dino Cineri to lead the “Saint-Etienne Ensemble 2026” list for the next elections.
